ACG Capital Connection
The 2006 Atlanta ACG Capital Connection drew over 800 financial registrants for a day of breakout sessions, meals, booth visiting and a final evening cocktail party. Participants came from private equity funds, investments banks, specialized lenders, national and regional banks as well as financial service providers including m&a attorneys, valuation firms, financial staffing firms and triple net leasing firms. The luncheon for 900 people was highlighted by a speech and graphics on two large screens by Brian Frances, CEO of NASCAR.
The highlight speech was at breakfast by Coach Steve Spurrier. He shared the nine traits that he wants his players to strive for, and he reasoned they were traits that would be useful tools for each of the participants at the conference.
These nine traits were:
1.) Attitude
2.) Responsibility
3.) Effort, Courage and Determination
4.) Preparation
5.) Creative Risk and Ownership of Ideas
6.) Handle Adversity/Don't let negatives Affect you
7.) Set realistic Goals/ Handle Success Well
8.) Enjoy Competing/ Don't watch the Scoreboard
9.) Exhibit Persistance every day
Upon announcing he was going to read this list, a number of pens slipped out of executive jackets and made a note of every trait
the coach announced.

Important New Project Financing
We have recently signed on to be part of a team providing access to funding for a proposed $100 million plus first step in a seven step process leading to full $500mm funding for a southeastern waterfront condo, multiuse development. This is an exciting project that has the potential to bring enjoyment to over 500 family units.
