Ellery McLanahan, Principal, is a native of New York City who now lives in Atlanta,
Georgia. After
attending Brooks School in Massachusetts, Ellery served two years on active duty in the U.S. Marine Corps. Four
years at Yale University
followed, during which he assumed leadership roles in a number of important undergraduate activities and received a BA degree.
Following Yale, Ellery joined Morgan Guaranty Trust Co., a division of J.P. Morgan & Company, at 23 Wall Street in New York City,
working directly across the street from the New York Stock
Exchange. After an extensive training program in all areas of commercial finance,
Ellery worked for two years in the International arena covering the bank’s important relationships with major Canadian
corporations and banking institutions.
From Wall Street, Ellery entered the investment banking and stock brokerage business, initially with Equitable
Securities in their Houston Texas
office. Subsequently as vice president and branch manager of both W.E. Hutton & Co. and Dean Witter Reynolds, he oversaw
extensive revenue producing offices for these large New York
Stock Exchange investment banking and brokerage firms.
Ellery’s experience in long term financing through both equity placement and corporate/municipal debt
issuance has enabled him to adapt his skills in today’s fast moving financial world. He
founded Resource Business Services (RBS) to leverage this expertise and provide a unique service to clients. As a small private firm, RBS offers personalized and confidential access to a variety of funding sources
providing capital to finance the growth and meet the operating needs of both large and small commercial clients.

Ellery is a former licensed commodity
broker with trading experience at Merrill Lynch Commodities as well as being Vice-President and Office Manager of Dean Witter's
futures trading office in Houston.
